The South African Vintage Tractor Engine Club

SAVTEC brings together people who share a deep respect for early agricultural engineering. We are a registered national organisation focused on finding, restoring, and maintaining the mechanical equipment that built our farming communities. Core Purpose: The event operates as an official fundraiser for the uMngeni SPCA.

Vintage Tractor & Engine National Show 2026

Step back in time and celebrate South Africa’s rich farming history at the Vintage Tractor & Engine National Show. Hosted by the Natal Vintage Tractor & Machinery Club at the scenic Baynesfield Estate, this fantastic family-friendly day out brings mechanical history to life in the open air.

The main arena will feature the incredible sight and sound of over 100 historic stationary engines and classic water pumps operating live in full working order. Alongside the heavy machinery displays, visitors can explore local markets, enjoy classic country entertainment, and experience the warm community spirit of the Natal midlands.
